50 Mentors in 50 Days

January is National Mentoring Month, and this year, Big Brothers Big Sisters of Winnipeg is pleased to announce our #50Mentors50Days volunteer campaign to recruit even more amazing adult volunteers to mentor our community’s young people.

From January 9th to February 28th, 2023, Big Brothers Big Sisters of Winnipeg encourages the public to join the mentoring movement and recruit themselves or individuals in their social networks to become volunteer mentors. Mentoring relationships are at their best when connections are made between a caring adult and a young person who knows someone is there to help guide them through life’s adversities and decisions.

For over 50 years Big Brothers Big Sisters programs have enabled life-changing mentoring relationships to ignite the power and potential of thousands of Winnipeg’s young people.

The need to find mentors is bigger than ever in 2023. Right now, there are over one hundred young people ready and waiting to be matched with their own mentor.

When mentors, the family, and our organization join together, we expand the assets youth need to develop into powerful, positive change-makers. By volunteering to be a Mentor with Big Brothers Big Sisters, one person can have significant and profound impact on the life of a child facing adversities.

We are confident we have a program with a time commitment that will work for you! Send us an inquiry using the web form below and we’ll send you a package of information, with no commitment necessary.
