IN-SCHOOL MENTORING
Program Overview
The In-School mentoring program runs from October to May, and provides youth with a role model and a friend to talk to and share the experiences of growing up within school grounds. For one hour a week, mentors meet with their mentee and engage in activities such as board games, crafts or just hang out on school grounds.
The In-School mentoring program requires a weekly visit of one hour for the duration of the school year. Matches do not meet over the summer break or during other school holidays.
Youth are enrolled through a referral from school staff.
There is also a group version of the In-School Mentoring program operating in Winnipeg between select High Schools and Elementary Schools.

By joining the Inter-generational [ISM] mentorship program, not only will you be matched with youth in your community, but will also have the opportunity to expand your network, increase your social connections, and explore the community, all while influencing the next generation to be the best they can be.
Our staff can be flexible with travel & bus during the Winter season!
