Serving on the Board of Directors at Big Brothers Big Sisters of Winnipeg is an extraordinary opportunity for an individual who is passionate about building the capacity of a dynamic non-profit to serve more of our community’s young people through mentoring.

The organization’s Board of Directors is comprised of leaders dedicated to the Agency’s vision of a world in which the healthy development of every child is enhanced by positive, nurturing, mentoring relationships – building healthy lives and healthy communities. They are active advocates and ambassadors for the organization and are fully engaged in advancing its mission, amplifying its voice, increasing its impact and enhancing its sustainability.  And they carry with them many of the core values of the Agency: Compassion, Integrity, Curiosity, Thoughtfulness and Commitment.

We are currently recruiting for diverse leaders with recent Board experience, and talent or expertise in one or more of the following areas: governance, public relations, marketing, education/social services, business and community influencer and/or fund development.
